About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. This role is part of the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Kindred Hospital Paramount ARU, an 18-bed hospital located in Paramount, California, which is part of Lifepoint Health. The hospital is committed to prioritizing employee well-being to enable exceptional care for patients.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
