About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated therapy team at our Senior Living facility in Sandy Springs, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment that promotes flexibility, collaboration, and continuous growth. This role involves 3 days a week, with 15+ hours, and offers flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. The setting is an Assisted Living facility, working with adults to maintain their independence. The work environment is collaborative, valuing teamwork and mutual respect.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
