About The Position

Join NovaCare Rehabilitation’s outpatient orthopedic center in Beavercreek, Ohio, as part of a clinical team caring for patients of all ages and abilities. The center provides personalized treatment to restore function and help patients return to sports, work, and everyday activities. The role provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist and implements physical therapy services in accordance with applicable practice standards and company policies.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting compensation is $26 per hour, commensurate with years of experience. Benefits listed apply to full-time employees working at least 32 hours per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Pass a national examination for physical therapist assistants certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant license, or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
