About The Position

Aviator Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. This full-time position is based in Richardson, TX. We are looking for both new graduates and seasoned professionals, including those new to home health. The role emphasizes evidence-based methodology, delivering high-quality skilled home health care, and offers mentorship opportunities in orthopedic manual therapy. Clinicians have control over their earning potential, which is tied to their efficiency and effort. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
Current Texas State License to practice physical therapy
Prior experience as a PTA a plus but new grads welcome!

Responsibilities

Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT
Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and family
Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner
Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease
Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in service programs
Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
Proficient and comfortable using technology to communicate and perform essential job functions.
