About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: SE Portland, Oregon Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite $38–$45/hour + Full Benefits + Supportive In-House Therapy Team At Secora Health & Rehabilitation, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that empower our residents to recover, thrive, and live well. We’re hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative, therapist-driven team where your work directly impacts recovery outcomes every day.

Requirements

  • Active Oregon PTA License (we support and reimburse licensing costs)
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge of therapy techniques and patient care
  • A compassionate, team-oriented approach
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
  • Current state PTA licensure
  • Valid CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with mobility, ambulation, and therapeutic exercises
  • Implementing individualized therapy plans using manual techniques and assistive devices
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress timely and with accuracy
  • Educating and motivating residents throughout their recovery journey
  • Ensuring compliance with therapy protocols and safety standards
  • Partnering with the therapy and nursing teams to support patient-centered outcomes
  • Staying current with best practices through continuing education
