About The Position
Aquacare and Fitness Forum Physical Therapy, a physical-therapist-owned private practice with 12 clinics across Maryland and Delaware, is seeking an orthopedic physical therapist assistant (PTA) to join their team. Requirements
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work four-day or five-day weeks.
- Willingness to help set work hours.
- Must be able to work from the plan of care with the evaluating physical therapist.
- Must have direct access to the supervising physical therapist during treatment sessions.
- Must participate in structured check-ins on shared patients.
- Must have a say in how the plan of care progresses.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Interest in specializing in aquatic therapy, lymphedema treatment, balance and vestibular work, neurologic rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.
- Certification support for specialties such as aquatic therapy, lymphedema, and other tracks open to PTAs.
Responsibilities
- Treat and work directly with patients.
- Deliver hands-on care through the whole session.
- Work from the plan of care with the evaluating physical therapist.
- Complete documentation through Prompt EMR with AI-assisted notes.
- Collaborate with supervising physical therapists, including structured check-ins on shared patients.
- Participate in specialization tracks such as aquatic therapy, lymphedema treatment, balance and vestibular work, neurologic rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.
