About The Position

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to support their physical therapy practice, which operates in conjunction with their orthopedic surgery practice. The role is ideal for an experienced PTA looking to contribute to a practice focused on helping patients live without pain and limitations. Requirements

Physical Therapy Assistant License or pending license (Required)
2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Licensed PTA clinical: 1 year (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

Associate degree (Preferred)
Spanish language proficiency (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Directly carries out the day-to-day patient assignments with the oversight and guidance by the Physical Therapist.
Conducts physical therapy care within the scope of practice, as well as agency policies and regulations.
Consistently follows company policies and procedures.
Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation and local standards, rules and regulations.
Participates in personal professional growth and development.
Participates with the interdisciplinary team to assure coordination of care and continuity of care delivery.
Reports all changes to patient findings to the Physical Therapist, as well as the physician where applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
