Presbyterian is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient recovery through guided therapeutic interventions that improve mobility, function, and quality of life across a variety of care settings. Provides patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic interventions to support recovery of physical function and management of developmental conditions. Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to deliver age-appropriate, effective care. Supports the development and implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs. Promotes patient and caregiver independence by connecting them with appropriate resources and support services. Collaborates and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary care teams involved in patient treatment. Supports discharge planning by working toward goals established at evaluation and throughout the episode of care. Advocates for patients to ensure access to appropriate care, services, and resources. Provides care across multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and community-based environments.
