About The Position
A private outpatient physical therapy practice is hiring a PTA to help deliver patient care in a one-on-one treatment environment. You will work alongside the Physical Therapist to support patients through rehabilitation, improve function, and help them make progress with their treatment goals. This role requires professionalism, accurate documentation, and the ability to keep sessions moving smoothly.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active New Jersey PTA license
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement PT-directed treatment plans
- Guide patients through prescribed rehabilitation activities
- Monitor patient participation, safety, and response
- Document each visit according to clinic standards
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising therapist
- Assist with maintaining clinic equipment and treatment areas
