About The Position
PAM Health is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with flexible scheduling options to join our team. We care for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care at our Oklahoma City LTACH. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. PAM Health operates over 80 hospitals nationwide, employing over 11,000 individuals dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care and achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- The PTA will additionally be involved in the further development of the services.
- The Physical Therapist Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
