About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their outpatient team in Lake City, FL. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Physical Therapists in a collaborative outpatient clinic. The PTA will provide individualized, one-on-one care to a diverse patient population, focusing on orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation. The clinic utilizes modern equipment, advanced treatment technology, and AI-assisted documentation.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience is a plus but not required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care
