About The Position
PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Wausau is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, with a preference for candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care and operates over 80 hospital locations nationwide.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Involved in the further development of the services.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
