About The Position

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position. This role is part of an in-house program within a welcoming, slower-paced community environment that delivers holistic care with a strong focus on prevention. The position offers a salary with 75% productivity benchmarks and no mandated group treatment. Specialized on-site training is delivered during paid work hours, with some sessions eligible for CEUs. The role features state-of-the-art rehab gyms and equipment, and the opportunity to build relationships by following residents across the full continuum of care, including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services. Clinically driven, patient-centered treatment decisions guide all programs and care plans. A positive leadership philosophy gives therapists opportunities to provide input into programming, systems, and creative idea sharing. Due to our company being a non-profit organization, student loan forgiveness is available after 10 years! In this role, you will be responsible for providing treatment services to residents and assisting the Physical Therapist in treatment and program development. You will perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been delegated by the Physical Therapist, in accordance with the plan of treatment. Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant training program
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
  • Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred)
