About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their dedicated therapy team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This PRN position offers a variety of available hours and provides easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support. The PTA will perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist. Theracare is an employee-owned company that has been exclusively serving the community since 1996, and is a leading provider of contract Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligible for state license
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (not required)
- Minimum one (1) year experience
