About The Position

Blue Stone Therapy is launching a brand-new outpatient therapy program at Peaceful Pines of Mitchell in Mitchell, SD, and is building its therapy team from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing outpatient program while delivering individualized, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role involves providing physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assisting patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance, monitoring patient progress, communicating treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist, educating patients on exercises and home programs, completing timely documentation, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered outpatient experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota

Responsibilities
