About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Riverview. Work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals while providing hands-on care that helps residents build strength, improve movement, and work toward greater functional independence.
Requirements
- Active Maryland PTA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide residents through strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities
- Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT
- Observe resident response to therapy and communicate progress and concerns
- Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely treatment documentation
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals
