About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for a skilled nursing facility. The position is located at Edgewood Manor in Raytown, Missouri, and follows a flexible Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate based on experience; the salary range is undisclosed.

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function. The role delivers individualized, patient-centered treatment plans and provides hands-on care. Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Rehabilitation or clinical experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
• Provide hands-on, patient-centered care to help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function.
