About The Position

Namy Physical Therapy provides therapeutic services in daycares, Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facilities, home health environments, rehabilitation centers, and school facilities. The company is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join its team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The PTA works closely with evaluating Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, improve patient mobility, and relieve pain, with a special focus on pediatric populations.

Requirements

• Hold an active, valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Have excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping patients achieve rehabilitation goals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Pediatric Physical Therapy is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients, particularly in pediatric, school, and PPEC settings, with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and update the supervising Physical Therapist about changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and families in home health and daycare settings to support consistent care.
