About The Position

This is a 13-week Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The position offers 35 guaranteed hours per week, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The PTA will be responsible for providing rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role involves assisting residents in enhancing their mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence. Candidates are expected to fulfill all onboarding requirements before the assignment begins.

Requirements

• Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
• Current BLS certification
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfer techniques, and mobility rehabilitation
• Ability to accurately document patient progress and follow established treatment plans
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Agency must have an active NM Caregivers account
