Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Setting

Seeking Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Sanford outpatient rehab clinic. You'll have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurologic, balance and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate for delivering evidence based and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current NC PTA license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but new graduate candidates considered
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, balance issues, weakness and pain dysfunction
- Provide hands-on therapy using a range of techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise on land and in the aquatic environment
- Document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Collaborate with the primary therapist as well as physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
- Work closely with a large team of experienced Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Speech, Language Pathologists
- Educate patients and families about their conditions
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
- Participate in continuous professional development
