About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Santa Monica, CA. This position involves implementing therapy plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, guiding patients through prescribed exercises and rehabilitation activities, monitoring patient responses to treatments, and assisting in improving patient mobility and functional outcomes. The role also requires maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, supporting outpatient rehabilitation services, ensuring patient safety during therapy sessions, collaborating with the therapy team for patient care, and educating patients on exercise techniques and recovery plans. The Physical Therapist Assistant will follow established treatment protocols.
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Outpatient experience preferred
