About The Position
PAM Health is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) with flexible scheduling options to join our team and care for a diverse patient population. We specialize in caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care across over 80 locations nationwide. Our teams collaborate to provide compassionate, high-level care for the best patient outcomes.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient hospital experience.
- A desire and commitment to learn.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Involvement in the further development of services.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
