About The Position

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide school-based therapy to children in the educational setting. This position offers flexibility, creativity, and autonomy. Our therapists make a meaningful difference for the children they treat! This position will serve multiple schools, including Hanson and Freeman with travel between locations as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development
• Provide therapy services aligned with student goals and educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in team meetings and student progress discussions
