Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
About The Position
An established healthcare system located near Sumter, South Carolina is seeking full-time, permanent Physical Therapist Assistants to join their team! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a Mon-Fri day shift schedule in an outpatient setting. The role involves working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to carry out established treatment programs. The Physical Therapist Assistant will perform a variety of treatment procedures for patients with different disabilities, injuries, and diseases. The department serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, with a collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Rehab Aides offering general, pediatric, and aquatic therapy treatments.
Requirements
- Must have completed a formal accredited physical therapy assistant associate’s degree program
- A current SC PTA certification is required
- BLS certification required

Responsibilities
- Works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and carries out the treatment program established by the therapist.
