About The Position
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home healthcare to patients in Forestdale, Massachusetts. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and pay of $37–$50 per visit, with mileage and licensure reimbursement, clinical and administrative support, and ongoing training and professional development. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides individualized, one-on-one physical therapy interventions in patients’ homes to help improve mobility, strength, safety, and independence. The role requires afternoon availability and at least one year of clinical experience.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- At least one year of clinical experience.
- Afternoon availability.
Nice To Haves

- Monday–Friday availability.
- Weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions as directed by a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with transfers and safe mobility techniques.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
