About The Position
Green Oaks Physical Therapy (GOPT) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Waxahachie! As a vital member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care and support to patients on their journey to recovery. GOPT has provided exceptional outpatient orthopedic care in the DFW metroplex for twenty-five years! Founded by Physical Therapists in 2000, GOPT now has 17 locations that allow us to serve the people in our communities with compassionate and competent care. Requirements
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Proficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient care
- Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plans
- Goal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve professional objectives
- Empathetic approach to patient care and ability to motivate others
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices

- Experience in sports rehabilitation preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and evaluating patient progress
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home programs
- Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and colleagues
