About The Position
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to help residents improve mobility, confidence, and functional independence while working in a collaborative skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, and transfer techniques
- Implement individualized treatment programs designed to support resident goals and recovery
- Observe resident performance during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the PT
- Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to support continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
