About The Position
A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient clinic in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. This position supports the Physical Therapist in carrying out treatment plans for patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical needs, pain, weakness, and mobility limitations. The role is a good fit for a PTA who enjoys outpatient rehab, clear treatment plans, and a clinic pace that allows for quality patient interaction.
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA License
- PTA Degree required
- Interest in orthopedic outpatient therapy
- Ability to work well with PTs, patients, and clinic staff
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Follow treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with strengthening, stretching, mobility, balance, and functional rehab activities
- Monitor patient performance and comfort during treatment
- Report patient progress and changes to the supervising PT
- Review proper exercise technique and home program instructions
- Keep treatment areas safe, clean, and ready
- Document care provided during each session
- Support a professional and positive patient experience
