About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities at an outpatient orthopedic center in East Wareham, Massachusetts. The clinical team provides treatment to maximize functionality and support optimal patient outcomes, helping patients return to athletics, work, everyday life, and the activities they enjoy. The center has strong relationships with local physicians, a diverse patient population, an experienced Center Manager, and mentorship opportunities.

The schedule is Monday through Friday. PRN and part-time options are also available. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Pass a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license, or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as required by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, following physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
