This position may be offered as a Full-Time or PRN opening, depending on several factors. Requirements

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Physical Therapy and related services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring high-quality care and positive engagement with both clients and facilities.
  • Implement treatment plans.
  • Supervise Rehab Technicians (as applicable).
  • Manage patient cases.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s dedication to excellence in service and client relationships.
  • Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.
  • Support patients in improving functional abilities and skills under the guidance of a licensed PT.
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program.
  • Advance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-directed learning, and continuing education.
  • Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare.
  • Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models, ensuring care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
