Physical Therapist Assistant needed for an outpatient setting. The role involves assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques, observing patients during treatments, and communicating with staff and other health team members to coordinate treatment programs. Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required
- Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Outpatient Orthopedic experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivering outstanding care in an outpatient setting
- Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
- Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
- Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
