About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of the Physical Therapist and assist patients with treatment plans designed to improve function, movement, strength, balance, and mobility. This Hallandale Beach, FL orthopedic outpatient office is PT-owned and built around manageable patient care. With 2 patients per hour, the clinic gives PTAs time to guide patients properly, answer questions, and support treatment follow-through.
Requirements
- Florida PTA License required
- PTA Degree required
- Comfortable working with orthopedic patients
- Organized and professional work style
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans according to PT direction
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise and functional rehab
- Support mobility, gait, balance, range of motion, and strengthening activities
- Monitor how patients respond during each session
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT
- Review home exercise programs with patients
- Document care provided during each visit
- Help maintain a safe and organized treatment space
