The PTA implements the customer's individualized treatment plan, provides treatments including modalities and exercises, and acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures. The role also involves organizing and facilitating treatment groups, instructing customers, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team. Maintaining accurate customer documentation and attending meetings are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the PTA is responsible for equipment maintenance and ensuring high-quality customer service.
