Lucas Therapies, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in Roanoke, Virginia. You'll collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and support staff to help patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes while building lasting relationships within the community.
Requirements
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Treat orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.
- Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
- Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and support staff to support strong patient outcomes.
