About The Position
Trinity Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team in Suffolk, VA. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve their daily living skills.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Active state license in Virginia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous home health experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in improving functional abilities and independence in daily activities
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
