About The Position
PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Wausau is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for their Day shift. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, with a preference for candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care, operating over 80 hospital locations nationwide with a team of over 11,000 employees dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Additionally be involved in the further development of the services.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
