About The Position
LTC Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Worcester, MA. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents in a skilled nursing setting while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide residents through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and balance activities
- Monitor resident performance during treatment sessions and communicate progress to the PT
- Encourage participation and support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
