About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities. This role involves using various techniques to help patients, including hands-on therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and ice/heat. The assistant works with patients to improve their movement and manage their pain with a treatment plan.
