About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant implements the plan of care established by the registered physical therapist and physician in a professional and competent manner, upholding excellence in quality of care. The role is part of the therapy team at Falcons Landing, a rehabilitation setting serving former members of the armed forces, U.S. government employees, and their spouses. The facility offers rehabilitation services and an interdisciplinary team in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

Functional Pathways describes its approach as holistic and patient-centered, addressing neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs. Its clinical services include evidence-based programs across the continuum of care, including aquatic therapy and non-invasive interventions. Team members may receive training and certification in specialty programs through CORE4+ and Wellness offerings. Requirements

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Certification and licensure as required by state and national board associations.
• Active state license.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
• Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
