About The Position

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy treatment visits to patients in their homes throughout the Davenport, FL area. This role focuses on treatment visits performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist , with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case and service provided . This position is ideal for PTAs who are confident working independently in the field, understand home‑health workflows, and value accurate clinical documentation. Requirements

  • License: Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience
  • Compliance: CPR certification and Level II background screening
  • Transportation: Ability to travel to patient homes
  • Classification: Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Nice To Haves

  • Home Health Experience: Preferred
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to complete detailed, accurate clinical notes

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatment visits as outlined in the Plan of Care
  • Carry out therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team
  • Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation
