About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant II to join our team. This role involves treating all assigned patients and executing on treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care. The position also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers, and for self-professional advancement. Additionally, the Physical Therapist Assistant II performs other professional duties associated with patient care, the development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams. The position is PRN, Day Shift, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday, at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL. Compensation is aligned with experience with shift differentials on top of the base rate.

Requirements

  • Graduate (e.g., Associate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice (Required).
  • 2+ Years of Experience
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification (Preferred).
