Physical Therapist Assistant - Aquatics
About The Position
We're looking for an Aquatic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide aquatic therapy that helps patients improve mobility, strength, function, and confidence in the water. Mountain Land Physical Therapy is a private practice leading the nation in advancing musculoskeletal care. With one-third of primary care visits related to musculoskeletal conditions and a growing shortage of physicians, we are putting physical therapists at the front of care, equipped with diagnostic imaging in many clinics for faster, more accurate treatment.
Requirements
- Current PTA License or ability to obtain (No sanction)
- Interest in Aquatic Therapy
- A passion for outpatient orthopedic therapy
- A drive to continue to learn and elevate your craft
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized aquatic therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Apply clinical skills, utilize evidence-based treatment techniques, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals in a supportive aquatic environment.
- Use innovative approaches and apply skills gained through continuing education to achieve the best possible outcomes, in collaboration with the supervising physical therapist.
