About The Position

Spero Rehab, part of Intune Physical Therapy, is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide a blend of aquatic and land-based physical therapy services. This role involves creating individualized rehabilitation programs for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and chronic pain conditions. The position offers a split schedule between a therapy pool and a traditional clinic setting, ideal for a therapist who enjoys variety and is passionate about evidence-based care. Both part-time and full-time preferences are welcome.

Requirements

  • Strong manual therapy skills and exercise prescription knowledge

  • Team-oriented approach to patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program or eligibility to obtain
  • State physical therapy license in good standing or eligibility to obtain
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or eligibility to take exam
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic setting

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy and exercise instruction to improve mobility, strength, and function
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on preventive care, home exercises, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and treatment techniques
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
  • Participate, as requested and with reasonable notice, in community outreach, local events, patient education, employer/school outreach, or relationship-building activities that support clinic growth, brand awareness, and community engagement.
