Physical Therapist Acute Care
About The Position
Healthworks in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Acute Care position at Mon Health. This role involves treating adult and geriatric patients, focusing on evaluation, treatment, and assistance with discharge planning. The hospital has a large multidisciplinary team and serves patients with various conditions including Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Amputation, Neurological Disorders, Orthopedic Conditions, and Multiple Traumas. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm, with required holiday rotations. Previous experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- CPR certification

Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
- Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
- Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
- Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager
