About The Position

M.C. Dean is seeking a Physical Security System Administrator 1 to join their Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. This role is part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Requirements

BS degree and 0+ Years of progressive experience OR HS Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ Years of progressive experience.
System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
Basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANs, and routing.
Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer.
Minimum of IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Able to use MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, or similar physical security systems.
Experience with PSIM systems.
Experience with IT systems in support of endpoint devices.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM, and other electronic security systems.
Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for endpoint devices.
Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support.
Assist end users in accessing and using client Physical Security systems (CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, etc.).
Process break/fix requests remotely for physical security systems such as ACC.
Utilize a technology-based problem tracking system (ticketing system) to document helpdesk phone calls, including troubleshooting steps before completing tickets or escalating.
Support daily operations by monitoring and reviewing system logs.
Perform root cause analysis on significant issues at the appropriate support level.
Implement and maintain updates and enhancements for Security Video Management System, Security Key Management System, Security Access Control System Inventory Management System, Visitor Management System, and other systems.
Program software for new and existing Physical Security Systems.
Update Security System configurations as required by project.
Deploy firmware and software updates to Security Systems as required by project.
Update System Programming Standards (Naming Convention, Configurations, etc.) as required by project.
Troubleshoot and audit physical security systems related to access, monitoring, video, or other related issues.
