The Classified Physical Security team is responsible for ensuring the security of classified facilities for Anduril’s most sensitive programs and contracts. The team has individuals located across the country working collaboratively to ensure the security of Anduril’s classified facilities and government information. The team provides full lifecycle management and support for the design, oversight and facility accreditation for Anduril’s secure spaces. We are looking for a Classified Physical Security Specialist to join our growing team in Costa Mesa, California. This is a security position requiring a qualified security professional supporting the expansion of Anduril’s classified facilities to include classified open storage areas, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs). The Classified Physical Security Specialist’s primary responsibilities include supporting the Classified Physical Security Managers’ oversight of the design, build, and accreditation of Anduril secure facilities in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (the “National Information Security Program Operating Manual”), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs 703, 704, 705, and others), and applicable Department of War and military department policies and issuances. The Physical Security Specialist serves as the technical expert and "on-site eyes" for all secure facility operations, with a primary focus on SCIFs/SAPFs/OSAs. This role ensures the integrity of secure environments, from initial design specifications through ongoing daily operational compliance. The Specialist will be actively involved in build meetings and daily site walkthroughs, reviewing design drawings and assessing added infrastructure scope for active and new builds, while managing relationships with vendors, conducting rigorous site inspections (including bi-annual inspection / testing), and supporting/maintaining accreditation documentation for secure spaces throughout their lifecycle. The Physical Security Specialist will interface with numerous internal and external organizations to include Anduril program teams and security professionals, government program offices real estate professionals, architects, general contractors, construction personnel, contracted site security managers, guard forces, and other service providers. This will require detailed knowledge of the government policies applicable to secure facility construction, as well as practical experience implementing this knowledge to a fast-paced, quickly scaling, and complex environment that encompasses both traditional office space applications as well as manufacturing facilities. If you are someone who enjoys fast-paced and collaborative work, finding solutions to interesting challenges, and possess a “can do” attitude, then this role is for you!
