About The Position

The Physical Security Project Manager is responsible for providing operational oversight and strategic support for multiple assigned security programs and client locations. This role ensures that sites operate efficiently, remain compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements, maintain staffing and training standards, and consistently deliver high-quality security services. The Physical Security Project Manager serves as a key liaison between site leadership, operations management, corporate departments, and clients. This position focuses on performance management, operational consistency, process improvement, and the successful execution of company and client objectives across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience within physical security, contract security, law enforcement, military, or related industries.
  • Experience overseeing multiple locations, programs, or operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of security operations, workforce management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between assigned locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing security operations for data centers, critical infrastructure, healthcare, government, or corporate environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or similar industry certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and support for multiple physical security sites and programs.
  • Ensure assigned locations operate efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Monitor site performance, staffing levels, scheduling practices, and operational readiness.
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational excellence.
  • Support site leadership in resolving operational challenges and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure consistency in security operations, reporting, and service delivery across all assigned locations.
  • Partner with Site Managers, Security Managers, and Operations Leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to site leadership teams.
  • Assist with leadership development, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Participate in operational reviews, business meetings, and client performance discussions.
  • Address client concerns promptly and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, client requirements, state licensing regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Monitor licensing, certifications, training records, and employee qualifications.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and operational audits.
  • Ensure all incident reports, investigations, and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
  • Support implementation of corrective action plans when compliance or performance deficiencies are identified.
  • Assist with the implementation of new security programs, site expansions, and operational transitions.
  • Support budgeting, resource allocation, and workforce planning efforts.
  • Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall service delivery.
  • Collaborate with leadership on long-term operational planning and growth initiatives.
  • Prepare and review operational reports, performance metrics, and client deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records related to staffing, compliance, training, and operational performance.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Ensure timely communication between site leadership, clients, and corporate support teams.
