About The Position

This role involves scheduling and supervising a team of field installers specializing in Access Control and CCTV systems. The supervisor will assist with installations as needed and oversee approximately 5-6 installers. Key responsibilities include attending job site meetings, daily supervision of installers, conducting toolbox talks, and submitting daily reports. The role also requires proper tool usage for safety and quality, reporting damaged products, analyzing project documents for planning, organizing safety training and other required documentation, and acting as a liaison between installers and project managers. Maintaining detailed records of installation requirements and project specifications is crucial for ensuring correct and efficient installations. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently.
  • Experience using power tools, such as saws and drills.
  • Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must have strong math skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must have strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
  • Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and supervise team of field installers.

  • Schedule and supervise installers each day on the job sites.
  • Conduct toolbox topics.
  • Provide daily reports on job sites.
  • Use tools properly to insure safety and protect quality of doors and hardware.
  • Report any damaged products to supervisor.
  • Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly.
  • Organize and document safety training, drug screens, other documents needed depending on contract.
  • Act as Liaison between Installers and Project Managers.
  • Keep detailed record of installation requirements/project specs to ensure each installation is performed correctly and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
