About The Position

The Periscope Group is seeking licensed physical or occupational therapists to join its nationwide network of independent consultants. Consultants perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments and provide recommendations intended to help members maintain independence. The role offers schedule-setting flexibility within assessment timeframes and compensation of $135 to $200 per assessment, depending on location and assessment type. Consultants receive access to training and mentoring, continuing education benefits, and a streamlined onboarding and documentation process. The Periscope Group is a privately held consulting company founded in 1997. It provides accurate, timely, and objective reports to support medical management teams and serves populations across 46 states.

Requirements

Current licensure as a physical therapist or occupational therapist; physical therapist assistants and certified occupational therapy assistants are not eligible.
Malpractice or liability insurance, which may be purchased at the time of a job offer.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to and from members’ homes.
Proficiency with technology, including online portals and document uploads, using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
