About The Position

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a per diem Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation service at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. This is a 100% inpatient PM&R practice at a single hospital. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling to cover alternating weekends, holidays, and/or vacations. You will join a tenured, multispecialty medical group established in 1976 and work alongside experienced PM&R physicians in a collegial, team-based environment. You will collaborate with a full interdisciplinary rehabilitation team (PT, OT, SLP, nursing, case management, and social work) and hospitalist team. There is an opportunity to participate in quality improvement and program development within a CARF-accredited setting.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain)
DEA certification (or eligibility)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient-centered, mission-driven care

Nice To Haves

Experience with spinal cord injury rehabilitation is preferred
Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Experience with spinal cord injuries highly desirable

Responsibilities
